Goodbye My Dear Friend

My sweet dog Tofu has crossed the bridge last night. He is such a great dog.

Oh my sweet little dog, how great you are.
The time is near and I knew it in my heart
but I did not know that it will be so soon.
I found you lying on your side and I knew that it was time.
I stayed with you till your very last breath
and I couldn't let you go.

This morning I carried my friend to our backyard.
There I buried him where he loves to play.
I said my goodbye
but he will forever be remembered in my heart.
A memorial of flowers will be planted there
I miss you my sweet little dog.
